Eligibility:           Boone County seniors age 55 and older.  Some volunteer services are income based.

Services:  

·      Connects seniors with information and resources they need to make informed decisions and live independently in the community.

·      SeniorConnect program coordinates care of vulnerable older adults and advocates for their well-being.

o     Friendly visitor service partners socially isolated seniors and community volunteers.

o     Income-based volunteer services include grocery shopping, food pantry delivery, yard maintenance, and transportation for groceries and medical appointments

o     Missouri Property Tax Credit support service assists homebound seniors with tax credit filing

o     Home repair program for low-income senior homeowners who reside within the City of Columbia.

·     RSVP program supports seniors as volunteers in the community (for more information, please refer to RSVP entry)
